I know, I know. I’ve been away too long. The last few weeks of summer have been insane with workshops, the new job, and getting the kids back to school.
Over the last few weeks I’ve completed a whole whack of workshops through www.savvyauthors.com, including their Summer Symposium. WOW! So much to learn over a few days. From how to use social networking, to numerous workshops to develop your skill as a writer, to submissions and publishing. Chats, classes, webinars - there was everything, and I loved every minute of it (even though I was attached to my computer for about 5 days straight and had to force myself to stop for sleep, food and to say hi to my family!)
While I was doing that I also took a few month-long classes, including a plotting class and guess what…now I have a complete outline for a novel I had become frustrated with and put aside over a year ago. Yeah!
So, now I need to gather my thoughts and attempt to impart some words of knowledge and advice based on what I’ve been learning and how I’ve been applying it to my own work.
Oh yeah, and of course I’ve been reading while doing all of this. Always time for a book (or two or three).
Have a great weekend all!
Anne
