Hmm… What do I think about heartbreakers? I think every guy has the potential to be a heartbreaker. The boy next door, the local bad boy, even your best friend. I think it all depends on how much we expect from them, and how much we come to depend on them. They may be sexy, but they sure aren’t perfect! They screw up, and it’s usually big. But, let’s face it ladies, many of us have some pretty high expectations and when things don’t go our way, especially in the area of LOVE, our heart cracks wide open, right down the middle, and teeters until it’s put back together.
But the best thing about these guys…they also love the deepest, the hardest and they willingly step up to become our knights, our heroes. They slay our dragons, they open our doors, and they lift us over puddles. They let us cry on their shoulder. *swoon*
So now, you tell me, do you think heartbreakers make the best heroes? Leave me a comment below for a chance to win!
In my debut release, Worth the Risk, Molly’s heart was broken, but not by her hero, at least not directly. Still, she had a lot of healing to do before her heart was put back together. Check it out:
Even the hottest sex might not be enough to ease the pain of the past…
Molly Simpson arrives at a beautiful provincial park, ready to spend the May Two-Four holiday camping with friends. This weekend is the highlight of her year—or it was, until Tanner Daivies showed up. Her high school crush is all grown up, sexy as sin, and he’s demanding answers—answers Molly isn’t sure she can give him. She had her reasons for leaving him all those years ago, but now, sex with Tanner is scorching, and when they’re together, it’s clear they were never meant to be apart. But the past doesn’t want to stay buried, and Molly isn’t sure reliving it is worth the risk…
