snippetsunday

aaa-www

Each week authors from all over and writing in all genres bring you snippets from their work.  It could be a work in progress or a completed piece.  It could be published or not. But it’s only 8 sentences.

For the second week I’m taking a little detour.  Don’t worry, I’ll come back to A Legacy of Lies in a couple of weeks.  But  I wanted to share a few snippets from my newly released Friends with Benefits.  This is the story of Angela and Tyler O’Neil. Tyler wants Connor’s help with a very special summer activity.  Friends with Benefits is a Contemporary Erotic Romance, a ménage.

Now, in the interest of keeping to our 8 line rule, I did a little creative work with the punctuation to combine a few sentences again.  This is a little further in Tyler’s conversation with Connor.

“You’re asking me to have sex with your wife, Ty.”

“Yes, I am. Initially, I want to fulfill her stranger fantasy, but I’m also asking you to participate in a threesome with us.”

The memory of how wet Angela had been the last time they talked about it entered Tyler’s mind. Fuck, she’d been so turned on by the conversation, foreplay wasn’t necessary. Afterward, she’d blushed, embarrassed at her body’s eagerness. He wanted her to understand he’d do anything to make her feel good. It wouldn’t change how much he loved her, and if things worked out as he hoped, their bond would be stronger.

I’ll spend a couple of weeks here.  But I do promise to return to Jacob and Elissa’s story.  You can read the past snippets of those here:  ALL my snippets.

Please jump back to the main site for  Weekend Writing Warriors and visit  Snippet Sunday on Facebook to see the many other authors bringing you a glance into their worlds for this week.

I’m looking forward to catching up with everybody.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Can sexual exploration lead to three times the bliss?

FriendswithBenefitsByAnneLange200x300Tyler had no idea his wife Angela’s desires so closely matched his own. But when some unguarded pillow talk reveals her fantasy of two men at once, Tyler jumps at the chance to make her happy. Enlisting the help of his best friend Connor, who’d shared some threesome adventures with him in the past, Tyler secretly hopes exploring Angela’s fantasies will lead to his own personal desire—a permanent threesome with the two people he loves most in the world.

Connor can’t believe it when his best friend asks him to seduce his wife. Then he meets Angela, and all the women in his past fade away. With Tyler’s blessing, Connor sets out to melt Angela’s reserve, and when Tyler joins the party, the three of them set the sheets on fire.

Angela is floored when her husband suggests they explore some of her fantasies—things she’d only read about but never in a million years thought she’d actually do. Sandwiched between Tyler and Connor, she’s never felt so treasured, so protected, so loved. But the reality proves much more complicated than the fantasy. She loves her husband, but she finds herself falling for his best friend too. That’s not normal, is it? What will people think?

Aye, there’s the rub, “and if things worked out as he hoped”. It’s always what you don’t expect that gets you.

Whew! This threesome idea is sounding pretty damn good to me right now too! Awesome snippet, Anne! Hope to read more from this!

Ty is playing a dangerous game.

  4. Ally

    That’s a twist.

Whew, what a crazy situation to find yourself in. I’m guessing there will be some bumps in the road…

From the sound of it, they’re going to be having a lot of fun if Connor says yes. Angela will probably be shocked when it first happens but if just talking about it turns her on… reality will dazzle her. Great snippet!

There’s a twist on the genre! Good passage, Anne.

I really like Tyler—he’s very secure in himself and in his marriage.

I can’t wait to read this. Angela is a lucky girl. Congrats on the release. :) I hope editing is going well today.

I do think there will have to be complications no one is considering, it’s just all too easy so far…but very well written!

Connor seems to be having a hard time wrapping his mind around this.

Whoa! This sounds so uh fascinating and far from my kind of life style. You’ve captured me with the whole idea and your writing is both terrific and compelling. Thanks, Anne.
