Love and Romance

Are you a romantic? Do you like to your partner to be romantic?

I met my husband on a blind date, many years ago. That’s kind of romantic isn’t it?  And since then, he happens to be one of those guys who remembers every anniversary, every birthday, every holiday. Over the years, I’ve received cards, flowers, chocolates when the occasion called for them, gifts.  They don’t have to be extravagant; it’s the thought that counts, right? He’s even gone out of this way to plan special excursions for me, trips to the spa, outings with girlfriends, and once even a trip when he knew I was having a particularly difficult time.

My hubby is a true gentlemen and a romantic at heart.  I love him dearly. I don’t need to hear the words “I Love You” every single day, because he does so many little things to let me know just how much he cares.

FriendswithBenefitsByAnneLange200x300My newest release, Friends with Benefits, just came out a few weeks ago.  This is a story about a husband who will do anything to make his wife happy, including fulfilling her fantasies; one of which happens to involve a threesome.  Tyler asks his friend Connor to help him out with this very special task.

Now, Tyler has a unique interest in this particular fantasy, and … well, let’s just say, it will be an interesting summer for Tyler, Angela, and Connor.  And if things work out, the benefits for all them will be life changing.

Now for MY giveaway.

I’m giving away a Friends with Benefits Stone Soup necklace, a book thong made by Nicole Laverdure, some swag, and Lindt Orange Dark Chocolate – it is Valentine’s after all :)

One birthday, my husband (at the time, he was my boyfriend of 2 years maybe) planned a surprise birthday for me. It seemed all set up that I was to go to dinner with my friends (and he supposedly was working). Just as I was looking down at my menu when i felt someone kiss me on my cheek. I was so shocked that I literally recoiled because I thought, “who the heck is kissing me?” haha…turns out it was my boyfriend and a few more friends joining us for my birthday dinner. that was pretty cool :P
Thank you for the giveaway opportunity. Happy Valentine’s from Hawaii!

I was on very strict bed rest for 7 out of 9 months of each pregnancy. My hubby worked full time. He got up early every morning to prepare lunch and put it in the fridge, and got dinner together so that when he got home he could quickly prepare it. We had 5 children. He always takes care of the kids and I. Thanks.

I did not grow up in a demonstrative family; however, my husband has never failed to show me affection which is one of the big reasons I fell in love with him. He is not the most romantic but he has shown me throughout our 28 years he loves me. Thanks for the giveaway. wcraig5432@yahoo.com

My story is kinda like Brookes^^. Except I had a stomach bug and he had just left. So he drove the 30 mins back to my place. Held my hair as I puked. Then took me to the ER and stayed with me until I was released which was 5am. We had just started dating and 12 year later we’re still going strong.

  19. amy bowens

The sweetest thing was my husband did was when I was getting off work and heading to job # 2. It was V-day and he showed up just to say hi and give me a quick kiss. We said our goodbyes and I open my car door and there set on my seat was a ring box, I opened it but it was empty! I then turned around and there was my then boyfriend down on knee and holding a ring ! He asked me to marry him I was so surprised I didn’t see it coming! Of course I said yes! Thanks for sharing! This book looks very interesting can’t wait to read! amybowens34@yahoo.com

One Valentine’s Day I got flowers at work from my (not too) ‘secret admirer’. I’d been reminiscing with my girlfriends about romantic gestures way back when, and my amazing boyfriend overheard. It was really sweet.

My husband going back to get a piece of art I LOVED and didnt get . He was so sweet to do that , then he rubbed my feet and cooked dinner!

  23. Kristen @ Pretty Little Pages

My guy doesn’t do major romantic things. He’s always doing small things, and I think those are the best. Bringing my favorite coffee (it’s an hour drive away!) as a surprise, having breakfast ready when I finally crawl out bed, randomly buying books from my Amazon Wish List for me. :) He’s a keeper.

  24. Elise-Maria

Not a lot of romance in my life. Thanks for the giveaway.

Not long after we first met, I was sick with an awful cold. We weren’t even a couple yet, but he showed up at my work and I’m pretty sure he bought every Vicks-related product the pharmacy sold. :) From plug-ins, to rub and even a Vicks humidifier. There were cough drops and other medicines, too. It was so sweet!! He also threw in some Sour Patch Kids. ;)
