After ending my two-year engagement and in need of a change of scenery, I decide to seek solace in my hometown of Libby, Montana.
It seemed like a smart idea at the time.
Until I drive straight into the final snowstorm of the year. I can handle it, though.
That is until I hit a patch of black ice and drive off the road and into a very hard snowbank.

When I come to, I’m toasty warm in a rustic cabin. When I look around to see who saved me, I find the one person I really didn’t plan on running into during my reprieve from life.
Fate seems to have it in for me these days.

As a blizzard rages outside, I seem to be battling my feelings for Shane Masters, who looks even more deadly handsome than he did in high school.

This isn’t good.

The spark is still there. I can see it in his eyes every time he glances at me. I can feel it in the way my body responds.
